#F[ilter]ML is the tangible expression of my ruminations on the complex role social media plays in our lives. Posting on Instagram can be an act motivated by a genuine desire to share, or by a need to present a perfectly staged, jealousy inducing image of oneself. The images can be seen as beautiful, even inspirational, or as an artificial, insecurity-provoking assault on the viewer.
